![]() The preparation of a ski slope during operating hours of the ski area is far too dangerous and will therefore be avoided. This decision is made daily by the responsible ski slope manager, based upon consultation with the snow grooming operators. But in some cases with very little fresh snow it's better not to prepare the slopes again in the morning to avoid more harm. ![]() Sometimes our guests think that there was no snow-grooming at all. Therefore the ski runs tend to become mogul pistes very quickly. But in this case the problem is that the freshly fallen snow doesn't combine well with the old layer of snow. ![]() Perfectly prepared ski runs require enough freezing time during the night. In case of night-time snowfalls the snow-grooming machines are also in operation from 6.00 am in the morning in order to flatten the freshly fallen snow. In good weather (no precipitation) grooming works start every day at 4.30 pm and end approximately at 11.00 pm – if needed also much later.
